Associate Professor Sharna Jamadar is a cognitive neuroscientist in the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University, and Head of Clinical Research at Monash Biomedical Imaging. She uses multimodal neuroimaging to understand how our life experiences shape our brains and confer resilience to the ageing process. Sharna’s work has been at the international forefront in the development and application of ultra-fast positron emission tomography (PET) and simultaneous PET/MR for the study of the metabolic aspects of human brain function.
