POSTER STAND-BY TIMES: Each poster number is assigned to 2 stand-by times during OHBM 2023. Please see below:

SIZE REQUIREMENTS: Poster boards in Montreal will be vertical orientation. Maximum size requirements are as follows: 35 inches (w) by 45 inches (h) or 88.9 (w) by 114.3 (h) cm.

AUGMENTED POSTER EXPERIENCE:This year we are excited to work with Schol-AR to offer poster presenters the ability to use augmented reality (AR) to include digital data directly on posters, including NIFTI volumes, 3D models, videos, and image stacks. Using this technique, all attendees can view and interact with your data by aiming their smart devices at poster figures. A brief introductory video can be seen here. VIRTUAL POSTER OPTION: We are once again partnering with Fourwaves in 2023 which will allow current members of OHBM to view meeting content, including posters. There will be no virtual poster presentations this year, but poster presenters will be invited to upload a poster PDF and a 3-minute video explaining your research by June 30, 2023.

POSTER UPLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Go to Fourwaves, our virtual platform: https://dashboard.fourwaves.com/login 
  2. Log-in using the email associated with your content submission. If you have previously used Fourwaves, please use the password you’ve created in the past. If not, click ‘Get a new password’ to create an account or update your existing password, if needed.
  3. Click: ‘View Event Website’ under ‘The Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) 2023 Annual Meeting.’
  4. On the top right hand corner of the event homepage you will see your profile icon. Hover over the icon and click ‘My Submissions.’ Here, you will find your presentations and/or posters pre-loaded into the system. 
  5. Click on the respective content titles for the areas you would like to upload and follow the given prompts. 

POSTER SIZING AND TIPS FROM FOURWAVES:

POSTER PRINTING UPDATE: We have negotiated a discount for local poster printing and shipping services through Rubiks. Please use this custom link to their site and mention “OHBM for poster presenters” to become part of the bulk shipment: https://rubiks.ca/order/.  

Participation in this service has a HARD DEADLINE OF JULY 10TH - NO EXCEPTIONS. Rubiks is a small, independent service provider that has a maximum print capacity of 40 posters per day. This service will be overwhelmed if everyone waits until July to place their order. PLACE YOUR ORDER EARLY to ensure it can be accommodated! Posters will be delivered by July 20th.

POSTER WITHDRAW INFO: If extraordinary circumstances require withdrawal of a poster, please notify the OHBM Executive Office by completing this form as soon as possible.

GENERAL ANNUAL MEETING REMINDER: Poster presenters must individually register for the Annual Meeting to access the event. Please note you are also required to make your own travel and hotel arrangements for your visit to Montreal as well.
